About Sarah

Hi, I'm Sarah MacDonald, founder of Balance Yoga Cambridge. 
I am fully trained professional yoga teacher, each an extensive yoga background. I discovered yoga as a teenager growing up in Auckland, way back around 1990. My yoga journey has been a source of strength and inspiration for my daily life, and physical and mental wellbeing. I understand how yoga can impact the lives of people of all different ages and backgrounds, and I am committed to helping YOU discover how yoga can benefit you in your daily life. 
You may be aware that in 2018 Balance Yoga underwent a major change, moving from a studio based yoga community to a more mobile format. However, at its heart yoga is found in the individual's practice, and no matter where I am teaching from or in what form, I remain committed to making yoga a relevant and beneficial part of your life.
