Workshop 1: YOGA 101

Friday 9 June (Workshop complete)

Level: Beginner / Refresher
This workshop will cover the basics for anyone new to yoga or with limited experience who wants to get started on the right foot. Or it will be a great refresher if it's been a while since you were on the mat.
We'll cover breathing basics, look at spinal movements, key alignment points and how to approach the most common yoga poses safely and effectively.
Small group to ensure individual attention.

Workshop 2: Fundamentals of Flow

Friday 16 June (workshop complete)

Level: All, including beginners
How we transition into and out of poses is just as important as the pose itself. When we use the breath as inspiration for the transition movements our practice becomes more mindful and meditative.
Fundamentals of Flow will show you how to bring this element into your practice, whether you are just starting out, or looking to lift your practice to the next level.

Workshop 3: Yoga Nidra - Complete relaxation

Friday 23 June

Level: All, including beginners
Yoga Nidra means 'Yogic Sleep'. During a yoga nidra session you will be lying comfortably on the floor with your eyes closed, as the teacher gradually guides you to a very deep level of relaxation, known as the hypnagogic state (similar to being on the brink of falling asleep). Relaxation in Yoga Nidra is commonly described as being more refreshing than sleep.
Come along and experience Yoga Nidra for yourself. Your teacher, Elizabeth Day, will spend some time giving more explanation of this technique, with some time for Q&A.

Workshop 4: The Foundations of Flight - Get your feet off the mat

Have you ever wondered if you have what it takes to get lift-off in yoga? In this workshop we look at why we need to ground down into our foundations in order to take our feet off the mat.
Suitable for any level of yogis looking to be challenge themselves. Bring a sense of playfulness and fun.
