Looking for where to start?

Balance Yoga's Beginner's Yoga Course is the perfect place to start for anyone interested in learning the basics of yoga.

Classes cover not just 'what' to do, but the 'how' and 'why' as well. You'll discover that yoga is about a lot more than simply stretching. It's an incredible practice to help develop holistic wellbeing by working with your body, mind and breath.

Offered in a welcoming and friendly environment, we cover all the basics and set you on the path to develop a safe, effective and sustainable yoga practice to help you reach your wellbeing goals.

Some of the areas you'll cover:

  • Body - move better, develop strength and flexibility

  • Breath - learn about the power of your breath and how it affects your wellbeing

  • Mind - practice taming the 'busy' mind, learn relaxation and focus techniques.

  • Connect with yourself

  • Learn ways to reduce your stress levels, sleep better, and improve your mental health.
