Balance Yoga is all about helping you bring both your body and mind into balance, and finding your zen in this busy life.
I'm Sarah MacDonald, a qualified, experienced yoga instructor. I began practicing yoga back in the 1990s, and have been teaching yoga classes in Cambridge for over 10 years.
Balance Yoga offers yoga classes in Cambridge and Tamahere.
There are a few differences between how these classes are offered. Please take a look and see what suits you best.
Cambridge Yoga
Regular weekly classes - all welcome
Classes are held upstairs in the Cambridge Community Pavilion. Or, when the weather warms up we will move outdoors and enjoy yoga in the park.
Classes currently offered:
Yoga for Active Bodies (Mondays 9am)
Align & Flow (Tuesdays 5.30pm)
Beginners (Tuesdays 6.45pm)
Gentle Yoga (Wednesdays 9am)
No need to book in for Cambridge classes. Just come along.

Tamahere Yoga
Small group classes - last spaces filling now.
Classes held in my private studio, where everything you need is provided. Maximum of 6 people per class. Bookings are essential, and made on a month-by-month basis.
Classes currently offered:
Yoga for Wellbeing (1.30pm Mondays, 9.30am Tuesdays, and 9.30am Thursdays)
Unwind Yoga (7pm Thursdays)
Last spaces can now be booked for daytime sessions. Contact me today to book a place.

Private Classes
Private yoga sessions are available for any type of group. I’ve taught yoga to everyone from kindergarten children to Olympic athletes, to office workers and retirees. I tailor each session for your specific needs and can travel to you.
Yoga for Athletes
One of my specialty yoga areas is teaching yoga to athletes, from school students to world champions. Sports specific, tailored for base, build or recovery phase, and incorporating mindset, focus and breathing. I welcome your enquiry.
Yoga Breathing
